Eligibility
- Applicant must be a Hall County resident.
- Household income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level.
- Cannot have insurance or be eligible for Medicare, Medicaid or PeachCare.
- Individuals with Medicare or other insurance and without dental insurance can qualify for services at the dental clinic if income and residency requirements are met.
Application Process
Applications are accepted Monday-Thursday mornings between 8:20 – 8:45 AM.
Applications may be completed at Good News upon arrival or can be downloaded and printed by clicking here:
Those applying should come in person and provide the following necessary documents:
- Photo ID
- Proof of Hall County residency (a recent bill or piece of mail showing applicant’s name and current address)
- Proof of household income (paycheck stub for last four pay weeks, unemployment income letter or work history statement from GA Department of Labor, Social Security or pension statements, DFCS letter or notarized letter from person providing assistance with living expenses)
**Those who are homeless or living with someone who provides financial support should click here to complete the “letter of support” and have it notarized (free notaries can be found at the local library).
Obtaining an Appointment
Approval will be granted the same day if all information is provided, and the patient will receive an appointment, usually within 2 weeks. Immediate needs are evaluated by medical/dental staff, and appointments are scheduled as available.
