We Celebrate the Bold & Mighty Among Us
At Good News Clinics, our tradition is to gather in August and celebrate our work over the past year in Mardi Gras style, and this fundraising dinner always provides the funds needed to successfully close The Clinics’ fiscal year (Sept. 30). God has always been faithful to provide, and YOU have always been faithful to respond.
Although we are not able to gather in person this year, we still have much to celebrate: a record number of new patients, the onboarding of EPIC (electronic patient information system) increasing the number of patients we can serve, the expansion of our counseling program, and all those who work tirelessly to make it all happen. They are bold and mighty, and we are recognizing these unsung heroes who repeatedly show us that “Not All Heroes Wear Capes.” This year we’ll celebrate through social media and e-mail. Next year we’ll celebrate again in person.
There may not be a physical event, but we will still celebrate and you can still help by committing to being a hero yourself as part of our #mightygras2020 challenge. Your gift helps us help our community by continuing to provide vital healthcare for our neighbors in need – something that is needed now more than ever.
Will you support Good News Clinics at the same level as you did last year? Or if you have survived this season well, perhaps you can give a little extra to help your neighbor? Or become a new donor?
Any gift at any level is heroic in our eyes and helps us reach our $150,000 goal. strong>
